Timothy A. Lindal Sr., 76, of Gillett, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. Tim was born on May 11, 1946, to the late Theodore and Yolanda “Babe” (Romanpani) Lindal in Kenosha. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from May 31, 1963, to May 10, 1967.
Tim worked as a salesman for American Welding and Engineering in Kenosha. He then moved his family to Suring. Tim was very proud of owning Lindal’s Landing from 1981 to 1985. After leaving The Landing, he moved to Las Vegas and took many bartending positions including at the Sahara and the Speedway.
Tim later retired from bartending and moved back to Wisconsin. He greatly enjoyed all Wisconsin sports, including the Badgers, Brewers, Bucks, and Packers. Tim loved Wisconsin and getting to experience all four seasons. He also loved going to the grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s birthdays, as well as attending family gatherings.
Tim is survived by his children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Lindy Parker-Drake, Robin Smith, and Lori Brandon. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill; granddaughter, Michelle; and nephew, Scott.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Maple Valley Community Church from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Andrew Jantz officiating. Tim will be interred at Maple Valley Community Church Cemetery.
