James W. Knuese, 64, of Shawano, passed away at home on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014. James was born on June 27, 1950, in Milwaukee to the late Ray and Ruth Knuese.
James was a peaceful, kind-hearted man who loved having fun with his family and friends.
James is survived by his significant other, Joleen Hawpetoss; his children, Kristen and Evan Knuese, both of Arizona; Joleen’s children, Jessey Hawpetoss and Julia Van Straten; two stepgrandchildren, Drake and Tenas; a special niece. Sicliana; and a special nephew, Henry; a brother, Jack Knuese; a sister, Jill Knueppel; as well as Joleen’s siblings, David Hawpetoss, Travis Hawpetoss, Peter Hawpetoss and Alicia Hawpetoss; Joleen’s parents, Jill and Paul Marroquin; and James’ best friend, George.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the services.
