HISTORY: The Packers and Giants most famous meetings occurred during the Vince Lombardi era, as two of the gold standard franchises in football met up for NFL Championship games in 1961 and 1962. The Packers owned both games behind strong performances from Paul Hornung and Jim Taylor in back-to-back seasons.
The Giants hold the claim of winning the last game Brett Favre ever played for the Packers, a frigid NFC Championship Game that saw temperatures dip well below zero. The Giants won 23-20. They also knocked off Green Bay in a 2011 divisional playoff, ending a season that saw the Packers go 15-1.
Overall the Packers are 34-27-2 against the Giants. Their most recent meeting came in London in 2022. The Packers blew a double-digit lead and lost 27-22.
