Sacred Heart Catholic School joyfully recently celebrated the students who recently received their First Holy Communion. This sacred milestone marks a profound moment in their faith journey as they received Jesus in the Eucharist for the very first time, including, from left, front row, Abel Mathwich, Alfred Gueths, Logan Erickson, Milo Gilling, Olivia Kast, Ryder Mathews, Bryson Kurtz, Owen Rouse, McCoy Miller, Freya Mattrich and Joseph McDougal; back row, Aliyah Redmerski, Rylea Cumberland, Ava Carroll, Elli Farley, Katie Fowler-Doxtator, Wyatt Zoellner, Charlie Young, Carmen Grignon, Lainey Grignon and Oliver Spaulding. Under the spiritual leadership of the Rev. Edward Looney and Deacon James Lonick, and with the dedicated preparation and guidance of teachers Paula Kundinger and Sarah Mente, these students have spent months learning, praying, and growing in their understanding of Christ’s presence in the Blessed Sacrament.
