Rice Lake 54, Shawano 46
The Hawks played an even first half, but Rice Lake pulled away after the break to win the Division 2 sectional title game 54-46.
The teams were tied at 29-29 at the break, with Rice Lake pulling ahead with a 25-17 second half score.
Shawano, which ended the season with a 10-2 second-place finish in the Bay Conference, was 21-6 overall.
Leah Nordin led the Hawks with 25.2 points per game, followed by Ella Stuber with 9.2 and Anna Dreier with 5.3.
Nordin also averaged 9.7 rebounds per game, and Dreier had 4.6.
Trinity Popelka led the team with 2.7 assists per game. Marissa Tomashek averaged 1.9.
Xavier 63, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 45
The Chargers’ only loss of the 2024-25 season came in the Division 3 sectional title game, a 63-45 loss to Xavier.
Witt-Birn won the Central Wisconsin East Conference crown with a perfect 14-0 record. The team was 27-1 overall.
Leading the team in scoring was Melaina Granquist with 20.0 points per game. Rory Salvesen averaged 17.8, and Harper Rogowski had 10.5.
Granquist also led with 10.0 rebounds per game, and Faith Resch was next at 3.8.
Salvesen averaged 4.8 assists per game, and Rogowski averaged 3.3.
