Rob Holman, 42, Stiles, died suddenly Monday evening, July 7, 2014, at home from complications with muscular dystrophy. He was born Sept. 16, 1971, in Oconto Falls to Tom and Penny (Owen) Holman.
Rob grew up in Oconto Falls, where he attended public schools and graduated with honors from high school with the Class of 1989. Following graduation from high school, Rob attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he graduated with a degree in business.
Rob will be lovingly remembered for his outgoing personality, great attitude about life and his ability to make friends easily. Having a remarkable recall for sports statistics, Rob enjoyed sports of all kinds and especially liked following the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers. He enjoyed being involved in fantasy football.
Survivors are his father, Tom (Colleen) Holman, Stiles; his mother, Penny Holman, Oconto Falls; his three brothers, Rusty (Barb) Holman, Stiles, Tim (Stephanie) Holman, Oconto Falls, Matt Holman, Stiles; maternal grandparents, Bob and Donna Owen, Corpus Christi, Texas; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; some very special friends, Audrey Piper, Howard and Karen Christensen, Lou and Deb LeFebre, and Jeanna and Keith Koch.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Ruth (Meissner) Holman; two uncles, Mark Owen and Rick Goodman; and an aunt, Susan Owen.
Private family services were held in Oconto Falls.
