Pulaski scored one goal 22 minutes into the first half, and that was all that mattered in the 1-0 non-conference win over Hortonville.
Maddox McKeefry scored on an assist from Nolan Pratt.
The game was called at the start of the second half due to severe weather. By rule, since one half was completed, the result became official. Josh Roth made three saves in goal for Pulaski (4-0-1). Grant Decker made three saves in goal for Hortonville (2-1-1).
Shawano 1, Waupaca 0
A one-score game gave Shawano its second win of the season, as the Hawks are now 2-1 overall.
Shawano defeated Waupaca 1-0 at Waupaca.
This game was an absolute thriller with a tied score of 0-0 going into the 70th minute.
With 10 minutes left ,Warner Beyer scored Shawano’s lone goal. Josh Lesperance set up the goal by taking the penalty late in the game
Ryan Buerman and his defense of Kody Popelka, Cooper Boucher and Wyatt Schroeder delivered the first official shutout of the season.
