FRCC Conference Meet
Pulaski’s girls track and field team won the conference meet at Green Bay Preble, collecting 143 points. Bay Port was next in line with 100.
De Pere won the boys event with 140 points, with Pulaski placing fourth with 77.
Olivia Sprangers won the 100-meter dash. She also won the long jump, with Lydia Gwidt placing second.
Emerson Fabry won the 800-meter run, with teammate Olivia Stedl placing second. Fabry also won the 1,600-meter run.
Lily Urben captured the gold in the 300-meter hurdles.
Winning the 4x200-meter relay were Addison Krueger, Urben, Faye Brunke and Sprangers.
For the boys, Keaton Dauk won the 200-meter dash and the 300-meter hurdles.
The 4x200 team of Aiden McGlinn, Kam McKeefry, Sawyer Goodness and Spencer Hakes earned first place.
Manawa Grand Finale
Bonduel’s girls won at Manawa with 160.7 points, and the boys were second with 123.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s girls placed second with 140.2 points, while the boys were third with 116.
Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas boys and girls each placed fifth, and Marion/Tigerton teams were sixth. Wolf River Lutheran girls were seventh and the boys eighth, while Gresham/Bowler boys were seventh and girls eighth.
Winning for Bears girls team were Peyton Westrich in the 400-meter dash, Mariah Wondra in the 1,600-meter run, Kember Frome in the 3,200-meter run and the 4x75 relay team.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood winners were Kaitlin Tuskowski in the 100-meter dash, Harper Rogowski in the 200-meter dash, Faith Resch in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles, the 4x400 relay team (Kylee Beversdorf, Nora Bushman, Rogowski and Resch), the 4x800 team (Beversdorf, Bushman, Rogowski and Harper Krull) and Resch in the long jump.
Lena/STAA’s Eva Brooks won the high jump, and Della Kostreva won the triple jump.
For Marion/Tigerton, Madiline Wudstruck was third in the 400-meter dash, and Presley Stewart-Rolfs was third in the discus.
Gresham/Bowler’s best finishes were fifth place in the 4x800 (Addison Fischer, Cami Gourley, Hannah Long and Alivia Perez) and Emily Jensen in the discus.
Wolf River Lutheran’s Cadence Anderson was fifth in the 1000-meter dash, and Violet Buchholz was fifth in the 1,600-meter run.
For the boys, Bonduel was led with first-place finishes from Joah Dworniczak in the 3,200-meter run, the 4x800 team (Gage Anderson, Dworniczak, Oliver Chitwood and Corbin Vandenbrerg) and Ryan Westrich in the shot put.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Alex Sanderson was first in the 300-meter hurdles. The 4x400 team of Jett Rogowski, Sanderson, Bryson Schmid and Kaden Yaeger won. Landen Schmidt won gold in the discus. Yaeger won the long jump with Rogowski in second place.
Lena/STAA’s Zander Thomson won the high jump, and Lucas Heinke won the triple jump.
For Marion/Tigerton, Tristan Herro placed second in the high jump.
Gresham/Bowler’s 4x200 team of Riley Hohensee, Ethan May, Kobe Miller and Cody Mehlberg placed fourth.
Wolf River Lutheran’s Caleb Bohmbach was fifth in the 110-meter hurdles.
