Sept. 9
Police logged 25 incidents, including the following:
Suspicious — Police responding to a suspicious person complaint in the 100 block of South Washington Street located two individuals believed to have been involved in an assault in the city two days earlier. A charge of aggravated battery was referred against a 25-year-old Keshena man and a charge of battery was referred against a 24-year-old Shawano man. A charge of aggravated battery was also referred against a third person, a 23-year-old Shawano man, also believed to have been involved in the assault.
Accident — A 36-year-old woman sustained a leg injury after driving her vehicle into the Walgreen’s building at 401 E. Green Bay St. The woman told police she accidentally pushed the accelerator. There was extensive damage to the vehicle and minor damage to the building.
Juvenile — Police responded to a juvenile problem at Olga Brener Intermediate School, 1300 S. Union St.
Trespass — Police responded to a trespassing complaint in the 400 block of South Main St.
Theft — Storage units were reported broken into in the 3500 block of East Richmond Street.
Disturbance — Police responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of Military Road.
Sept. 8
Police logged 18 incidents, including the following:
Accident — A 30-year-old Cecil man was treated for head injuries sustained after falling from a moving bus in the 200 block of South Main Street. Police said the man rose from his seat to adjust his clothes and fell against the automatic door opener, then fell out through the door.
Juvenile — Police investigated a juvenile alcohol complaint in the 100 block of South Washington Street.
Disturbance — Police responded to a verbal dispute in the 500 block of South Main Street.
Juvenile — Police responded to a juvenile problem at Waukechon and Richmond streets.
Theft — Money was reported stolen from a residence in the 800 block of West Picnic Street.
Disturbance — Police responded to a disturbance at Maurer and Lincoln streets.
Sept. 7
Police logged 11 incidents, including the following:
Assault — Police investigated an assault reported at Shawano Medical Center, 309 N. Bartlett St., after a man came to the emergency room and said he was beat up.
Vandalism — Police investigated a vandalism complaint in the 700 block of West Picnic Street.
Rescue — Police rescued a 49-year-old Shawano man from the water south of the dam at Sturgeon Park, 811 S. Water St.

Police logged 27 incidents, including the following:
Burglary — Police investigated a reported burglary in the 200 block of East Maurer Street.
Suspicious — Police responded to a suspicious person complaint in the 200 block of West Fourth Street.
Juvenile — Police responded to a complaint of a disruptive student at Olga Brener Intermediate School.
Theft — A bike was reported stolen in the 200 block of South Lincoln Street.
Hit and Run — Police responded to a property damage hit-and-run at Division and Union streets.

Sept. 9
Deputies logged 44 incidents, including the following:
Warrant — A male subject was taken into custody on a warrant at the Homme Home Journey West in Wittenberg.
Theft — Ammunition, coins and other items were reported stolen on Strauss Court in Wescott.
Drug Offense — Authorities investigated a drug complaint on Fourth Street in Mattoon.
Burglary — Authorities investigated a burglary on Shady Lane in Belle Plaine.
Fraud — Authorities investigated a telephone scam complaint on Fourth Street in the town of Herman.
Disorderly — Authorities responded to a disorderly conduct complaint on Hemlock Road in Wittenberg.
Accidents — Two women from Leopolis — ages 48 and 81 — sustained minor injuries when a semi jackknifed and made contact with their van on state Highway 29 at County Road D. Authorities also logged two deer-related crashes.

Disturbance — Authorities responded to a report of a fight in progress on Resort Road in the town of Washington.
Hit and Run — Authorities investigated a property damage hit-and-run on Laney Road in Maple Grove.
Hit and Run — Authorities investigated a property damage hit-and-run on Lake Drive in Wescott.
Disturbance — A charge of bail jumping was referred against a 58-year-old Birnamwood man after a disturbance on U.S. Highway 45 in Birnamwood.
Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Main Street in Gresham.
Sept. 7
Deputies logged 38 incidents, including the following:
OWI — A 48-year-old Bowler man was arrested for operating while intoxicated on Moh He Con Nuck Road in Bowler.
Drug Offense — Authorities investigated a drug complaint at the Ho Chunk Casino in Wittenberg.
Theft — An Xbox and other items were reported stolen from a residence on Main Street in Angelica.
Vandalism — Authorities investigated a vandalism complaint on Fox Lane in Wescott.
Accidents — Authorities responded to an injury accident on state Highway 47 in Lessor and logged one deer-related crash.
Sept. 6
Deputies logged 47 incidents, including the following:
Reckless Driving — Authorities responded to three reckless driving complaints on state Highway 29 — in Belle Plaine, Waukechon and Seneca — one on Main Street in Gresham and one on U.S. Highway 45 in Birnamwood.
Trespass — Authorities responded to a trespassing complaint on Fischer Street in Gresham.
Juvenile — Authorities responded to a juvenile problem on Hickory Street in Red Springs.
Harassment — Authorities responded to a harassment complaint on Warrington Avenue in Cecil.
Accidents — Authorities logged an injury accident on state Highway 47-55 in Wescott and three deer-related crashes.
Clintonville Police Department
Sept. 9
Police logged 13 incidents, including the following:
Theft — A license plate was reported stolen on South Main Street.
Juvenile — A truancy complaint was reported by Clintonville High School.
Fraud — Police investigated a worthless check complaint.
Disorderly — A warning was issued for disorderly conduct on Ninth Street.
Sept. 8
Police logged 11 incidents, including the following:
Warrant — Police responding to a noise complaint on East 14th Street took a 32-year-old Gresham man into custody on a Shawano County warrant.
Disturbance — Officers responded to a domestic abuse/battery complaint on Morning Glory Drive. The suspect had left prior to arrival and charges will be referred to the district attorney.
Disturbance — Police issued a warning after a family disturbance on Morning Glory Drive.
Theft — A theft was reported on Flora Way.
Sept. 7
Police logged seven incidents, including the following:
Accident — A property damage accident was reported on South Clinton Avenue.
Juvenile — A complaint about an uncontrollable juvenile on Bennett Street was resolved.

Police logged 10 incidents, including the following:
Disturbance — Officers were requested for an unwanted subject on Folkman Street and upon their arrival, the party left without incident.
Fraud — Police investigated a worthless check complaint.
Accident — Officers responded to a property damage accident where a garbage truck struck a power pole on Fifth Street.
Accident — Officers responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident on Eighth Street at Clinton Avenue.
Warrant — A 17-year-old Clintonville female was taken into custody on a Shawano County warrant.
