Eagles dominate Elcho/White Lake
The Menominee Indian High School football team brought its losing streak to a decisive end Friday night in Keshena, beating Elcho/White Lake 40-6 in a Northern Lakes Conference match-up.
The Eagles defense led the way, holding Elcho/White Lake (0-3, 0-1 Northern Lakes) to -31 yards and getting seven sacks, three interceptions and a fumble recovery. Warren Miller led Menominee Indian (1-3, 1-1 Northern Lakes) with 10 tackles, eight tackles for loss, four sacks and a fumble recovery.
Forrest Webster had 19 carries for 147 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Dallas Madosh was six of eight for 65 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown. Michael Pecore had a 25-yard touchdown reception and two interceptions.
Truckers dominated by Freedom
The Clintonville High School football team lost 76-0 to Freedom in an Eastern Valley game Friday in Freedom.
