Illegal burning - Authorities investigated two calls of a fire with black smoke on Young Road in Oconto.
ATV - Authorities investigated a dune buggy driving on County Road Z in Pound at a high speed.
Traffic hazard - Authorities investigated a complaint of two young girls throwing things from the U.S. Highway 41-141 Allen Road overpass in Little Suamico.
Motorist assist - Authorities assisted a motorist with a flat tire on the U.S. Highway 41 southbound lane north of Kruegers Quarry Road in Abrams.
June 10
Deputies logged 38 incidents, including the following:
Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of suspicious male sitting on the caller’s porch swing on her front porch on Riversbend Lane, Suring.
Harassment - Authorities investigated a complaint from Cottage Road in Little Suamico of a man harassing a person about a scrap metal pile.
Criminal damage - Authorities investigated several signs that were damaged in Breed.
Alarm - Authorities investigated a report that an alarm at the impound lot in Oconto had been activated.
Domestic problem - Authorities investigated a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the town of Lena.
June 9
Deputies logged 34 incidents including the following:
Fireworks- Authorities investigated a fireworks complaint in Abrams near the town hall.
Road Closure- Authorities were informed that County Road J south of Oak Orchard Road to County S will be closed for several months due to construction.
Accident - A driver was forced off the road into the ditch in the town of Lena by a reckless driver.
Criminal damage - Authorities investigated a female who lost her temper and damaged her father’s home in the town of Gillett.
Animal problem - A bear was reported to be destroying bird feeders during the day on County Road S in Sobieski.
June 8
Deputies logged 38 incidents including the following:
Juvenile problem - Authorities assisted with a call in Oconto regarding a 14-year-old male threatening to kill someone with a knife.
Animal problem - A bear was reported seen in the roundabout on state Highway 22 in Gillett.
Traffic offense - Authorities investigated a vehicle crash at Nauke and Forest Road in Suring.
Criminal damage - Authorities investigated damage to a field on Klatt Road in Gillett.
June 7
Deputies logged 48 incidents including the following:
Criminal - Authorities investigated a report of people in a black truck spray painting signs in the Gillett area.
Fireworks - Authorities investigated a fireworks complaint at the gravel pits in Townsend.
Suspicious - Authorities investigated two reports of someone staying at a cabin on County Road W in White Lake during the week, moving furniture and the owners’ belongings.
Disturbance- Authorities spoke with neighbors on Sampson Road in Abrams regarding an argument over wood.
Accident - Authorities investigated a rollover in Abrams. A male driver traveling east on County Road D, east of Reim Road, swerved to miss a deer, hit the edge of the road, lost control and overturned in the ditch.
June 6
Deputies logged 35 incidents including the following:
Accident - A car hit a bear on state Highway 22 west of County Road K in Oconto Falls.
Squad damage - A deer ran into the driver’s side of a squad car on Goatsville Road in Lena.
Traffic hazard - A vehicle on U.S. Highway 41-141 in Abrams was reportedly driving dangerously.
June 5
Deputies logged 26 incidents including the following:
Accident - Authorities assisted a female driver who hit a deer on U.S. Highway 141 in Lena.
Property damage - A parked vehicle was reported to be damaged on Main Street in Lena.
Theft - A vehicle was reported stolen in Suring.
Disturbance - Authorities investigated a call about a man pointing a gun at another person before he left in his vehicle in the town of Gillett.
Theft - A wallet was reported stolen from an apartment on Main Street in Suring.
