Nov. 25 Deputies logged 29 incidents, including the following: Welfare check — Authorities investigated a report of a male on Logtown Road in Oconto who did not report to work and his employer was unable to reach him. Accident — A vehicle roll-over occurred on TarDam Road and Niemann Road in Mountain. Accident — A mailbox was struck by a snow plow on Klause Lake Road in Gillett. Suicide attempt — Authorities investigated a report of a 60-year-old male on Froelich Road in Abrams who took half a bottle of a prescription drugs. He was transported to a medical facility. Accident — A vehicle spun out on an icy road on state Highway 32 in Townsend. Accident — A vehicle lost control and struck a tree on state Highway 32 and Valley View Road in Townsend. Nov. 24 Deputies logged 45 incidents, including the following: Accident — Authorities investigated 23 reports of accidents throughout Oconto County. Accident — A vehicle swerved to miss a vehicle that stopped in the road on County Road ZZ and Section 8 Church Road in Brazeau. The vehicle hit a tree and ended up in the ditch. Accident — A two-vehicle accident occurred on East Frontage Road and Bramschreiber Road in Little Suamico. Welfare check — Authorities investigated a call from a male who was having chest pains on state Highway 64 in Suring. Accident — A vehicle slid through a stop sign on County Road J and North River Road in Oconto, landing in a yard and causing damage to the property. Accident — A two-vehicle accident involving a semi and an SUV occurred on U.S. Highway 41 and state Highway 22 in Oconto. Nov. 23 Deputies logged 34 incidents, including the following: Accident — A vehicle went in the ditch on state Highway 32-64, south of Mountain. Accident — A two-vehicle accident occurred on state Highway 32 and Bobcat Road in Townsend. Accident — Authorities investigated a vehicle that went through a stop sign at the junction of state Highway 32-64 in Mountain. Suspicious — Authorities investigated a report from a homeowner on County Road B in Oconto Falls who heard a load boom that sounded like dynamite, then heard a gun shot. Burglary — Authorities investigated a report of someone breaking into a garage and stealing steel and other items on Bagley Rapids Road in Mountain. Nov. 22 Deputies logged 33 incidents, including the following: Accident — A vehicle lost control and ended in the ditch on Archibald Lake Road near Stone Gate Lane in Lakewood. Accident — A vehicle lost control and hit a pole in a yard on Paya Lake Road in Mountain. The driver left the scene in another vehicle. Accident — A vehicle with blood on it was left in the ditch on Valley Line Road and East Pipgrass Road in Gillett. After contacting the owner and further investigation, it appeared the blood was from a deer. Ambulance — Authorities assisted with a 16-year-old male on Highway 141-22 having chest pains and numbness in his hands. Juvenile problem — Authorities investigated two reports of four or five teens hanging out at Cross Road and County Road S in Sobieski at 9:45 p.m. Nov. 21 Deputies logged 43 incidents, including the following: Accident — A vehicle traveling too fast for conditions on East River Road and County Road F in Lakewood slid off the road on a curve and struck some trees. Accident — A vehicle sideswiped another on a curve on Butler Rock Road and Tank Lane in Brazeau. Accident — A vehicle lost control and rolled over on state Highway 32 just south of Breed in Suring. Accident — A vehicle lost control on East Riverside Road in Lakewood, ending up in the ditch. Agency Assist — A vehicle lost control, striking an outside gas meter on East Main Street in Suring. Authorities evacuated occupants of area homes and notified Wisconsin Public Service. Nov. 20 Deputies logged 31 incidents, including the following: Accident — A vehicle lost control, struck a boat and broke a utility pole on state Highway 32 and East Anderson Lake Road in Suring. Accident — A vehicle struck a bear on County Road P near Mosling in Gillett. Accident — A highway department truck backed into a vehicle on Pine Road and Red Bank Road in Suring. Theft — Authorities investigated a report of a stolen U-Haul dolly on North Mill Street and East Main Street in Suring. Violation of Court Order — Authorities investigated a call informing them that a woman violated a no-contact order.
