Jayne Joyce Deering (nee Hanke)

Jayne Joyce Deering (nee Hanke) left her earthly bonds on Aug. 5, 2024, after 97 years to join her Lord in heaven. She lived a life of service to her family, her community, her church and her country. Born near Underhill in 1927, Jayne was raised in a single parent home with her six siblings during the Great Depression. The poverty of the times taught her the value of hard work, thrift, gratitude and the importance of family.

Robert William ‘Bob’ Schraeder
Robert William “Bob” Schraeder, age 80, of Keshena, entered heaven on July 30, 2024. Born on Oct. 20, 1943, in Milwaukee, he is the son of the late Reuben and Erna (Tadeyeski) Schraeder. Bob married the love of his life, Patricia “Patty” Schraeder, on Oct. 30, 1971. Bob proudly served in the United States Army from 1966-72.

Barbara Alice Nelson, nee Geringer, age 72, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at her home in Shawano. Barbara was born on Sept. 19, 1951, in Milwaukee, the daughter of John and Idabell (Schwenkner) Geringer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Allen J.

Donna Koeller
On Dec. 6, 1933, Donna Koeller was born in Gresham to Louis and Clara (Buettner) Koeller. Donna graduated from Gresham High School in 1951. She went on to the College of St. Benedict and entered the convent after her first year. Donna became a Benedictine sister and taught school in Minnesota for 12 years. After leaving the convent, she came back to Wisconsin to teach at St. Margaret Mary in Neenah for 22 years.

Richard John “Dick” Dodge
Richard (Dick) J. Dodge, 86, of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2023. Dick was born on April 17, 1937, in Shawano, the son of Sherburn and Jeanette (Krietzer) Dodge. He was a lifelong resident of Shawano having attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and Shawano High School. Dick graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1959 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance.
