The victim of a fatal Jan. 28 crash in the Town of Oconto Falls has been identified as Charitee McKenna, 76, of Cecil. Andrew Dryja, of Suring, was a conservation warden in Langlade County for 19 years before the Department of Natural Resources fired him in 2018 for three work rule violations, including transporting his children in an agency vehicle. The Wisconsin Invasive Species Council will host a series of virtual information sessions regarding proposed revisions to the state’s Invasive Species Identification, Classification and Control Rule. There will be a total of four virtual sessions. Each session will be held from 6-7:30 p.m.

Repairs to water leaks and building at the Shawano Public Library aren’t expected to be as expensive as thought just a month ago. Highway Commissioner Grant Bystol and crew members investigated the issues prominent in the northeast corner of the building and have most of the repairs already completed.
