A Keshena man will be among the American troops who will participate in the D-Day invasion in Normandy, France. Navy veteran Vaughn Collicott, 100, will join about 70 veterans from across the United States on a trip honoring the 80th anniversary of D-Day, which will culminate in a visit to Normandy on June 6.

Teresa Rose Gutenberger, 61, of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her favorite place, the lake home, on May 28, 2024. Teresa was born on July 23, 1962, to Herbert and Marlys (Cobian) Tauchen in Waupaca. After Teresa graduated from Bonduel High School in 1980, she went on to study agricultural business at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. At UW-River Falls, she met the love of her life, Brian.
