Wisconsin residents now have the option to add one emergency contact to their driver’s license record, according to the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department. This contact information could be available to law enforcement agencies for drivers involved in a collision or experiencing a medical emergency. As part of every application for a Wisconsin driver license or ID card, the applicant will be asked if they would like to include emergency contact

Ann Marie Francis (Schwanke) Van Grinsven, our beautiful, loving wife, mother and grandma, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2024, at home with her family by her side. She fought a battle against cancer that no one should have to fight but did it with incredible courage, dignity and grace. Ann was born on June 6, 1940, in Appleton, the second of four children of Ann (Kugler) and Sylvester Schwanke.
