There is no need to travel far to enjoy a round of golf. There are area nearly a dozen spaced among the boundaries that encase Shawano and Oconto counties.
Courses can be found from Wittenberg in the west to Oconto in the east with several in between.
Lakewood, Abrams, Suring, Oconto Falls, Cecil, Gresham and Shawano are also home to courses.
In addition to the time on the course, golfers and the public are invited to the clubhouse for food and drinks. Most offer a Friday fish fry menu as well.
