Hundt, Knope each score a hat trick in rout of Medford

Jan. 30 Shawano/Bonduel 9, Medford 2 Gavin Hundt and Blake Knope each had a hat trick in Shawano/Bonduel’s 9-2 non-conference win over Medford. The visitors went up 5-0 after one period. The Raiders’ two goals came in the second period, while Shawano/Bonduel added another four in the third. Scoring began with Teagan Harkey getting a goal just 32 seconds into the game; Hundt assisted.

Eugene W. Priem Sr.
Eugene W. Priem Sr., 90, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. Eugene was born on Feb. 10, 1934, in Shawano, son of the late Viola Priem. On July 20, 1982, he married Cecilia Crain of Lebanon. She preceded him in death on Nov. 30, 1999. Survivors include his children, Eugene Priem Jr.

Info meeting planned on ‘Farewell, WMS’ project
The Washington Middle School English Language Arts Department is making plans for the community to say goodbye to the old school as the school district prepares to open the new Oconto Falls Middle School this fall.
