Shawano 11U takes third in tournament

The Shawano 11U baseball team finished third in the youth baseball tournament last weekend at Memorial Park in Shawano. Shawano beat the Green Bay Sluggers 12-6 in the third-place game. Manitowoc took first place in the tournament. Peshtigo finished in second place. In the 12U tournament, Shawano advanced out of pool play but did not place. Bonduel was eliminated in pool play. First place in the 12U tournament went to the De Pere River Bandits. Suburban Athletics took second place. Sussex finished third and Allouez took fourth. Shawano hosts 9U and 10U baseball tournaments starting Friday.
