Delivery of non-narcotics
A Bowler woman is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Thursday on a felony charge of delivery of non-narcotic drugs.
Julie A. Kraus, 32, is accused of selling Tylenol 3 pills, which contain codeine, in exchange for Adderall. She could face six years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted.
The exchange set up by the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department Drug Unit allegedly took place with an undercover officer in Shawano last Wednesday.
Kraus is also charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.
Possession of marijuana, narcotics
A Shawano man is facing felony counts of second or subsequent possession of marijuana and narcotics after a disturbance in the town of Waukechon on Friday.
Shane J. Schreiber, 33, could face a maximum 3 1/2 years in prison and $10,000 fine on each count if convicted. He is also charged with felony bail jumping, which carries a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine.
Schreiber is also charged with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
Sheriff’s deputies responding to the disturbance found the drugs and paraphernalia on the premises, according to the criminal complaint.
Schreiber was being held on a $5,000 cash bond and is scheduled for an adjourned initial court appearance Monday.
Possession of cocaine
A Gresham man has been charged with a felony count of second offense or subsequent possession of cocaine after police responded to a noise complaint in Shawano on Sunday.
Justin C. Meyer, 32, could face a maximum 3 1/2 years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted.He is also charged with a misdemeanor count of resisting an officer.
Meyer allegedly ran from police responding to a noise complaint in a parking lot. He allegedly had cocaine on him when he was chased down and taken into custody, according to the criminal complaint.
A $250 cash bond was set at a hearing Monday. Meyer is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Aug. 14.
