Harassment — Police responded to a harassment complaint in the 900 block of South Main Street. Burglary — Police responded to a burglary complaint in the 500 block of South Main Street. Shawano County Sheriff’s Department Aug. 15 Deputies logged 72 incidents, including the following: Suspicious — Authorities responded to a suspicious person complaint on Red Oak Lane in Wittenberg. Fraud — Authorities responded to a fraud complaint on Cherry Road in the town of Herman after a woman received a call threatening her with arrest over a supposed loan taken out six years ago. Fraud — Authorities responded to a fraud complaint on Field Street in Birnamwood after a couple received a call from someone claiming to be represent Senior Care. Fraud — Authorities responded to a fraud complaint involving a fraudulent charge on a Visa bill on Railroad Avenue in Birnamwood. Fraud — Authorities responded to a fraud complaint on Oak Lane in Belle Plaine after a caller reported their debit card was frozen by the bank over a fraudulent online purchase. Reckless Driving — Authorities responded to a reckless driving complaint on Red River Road in Herman. Fraud — Authorities responded to a fraud complaint on County Road Y in Belle Plaine after a woman reported receiving a call from a Middle Eastern man claiming to she had money due her from a government housing lawsuit. Disorderly — Authorities responded to a disorderly conduct complaint on Oak Street in Bowler. Reckless Driving — Authorities responded to a reckless driving complaint on state Highway 22 in Belle Plaine. Warrant — A 30-year-old woman was taken into custody on a Waupaca County warrant on County Road M in Wittenberg. Disorderly — Authorities responded to a disorderly conduct complaint on Moh He Con Nuck Road in Bowler. Assault — Authorities investigated an assault complaint at Shawano County Jail. Warrant — A 32-year-old man was taken into custody on a warrant on County Road Z in Herman. Vandalism — A vandalism incident was reported at Cedar Park in Bonduel. Accidents — Authorities logged six accidents, including an injury accident on County Road BE in Hartland and three deer-related crashes. Clintonville Police Department Aug. 15 Police logged four incidents, including the following: Animal — An officer injury report was completed after a cat bite occurred while transporting a stray cat to the pound. Suspicious — A suspicious vehicle complaint was reported on Morning Glory Drive. Contact was made with the driver and everything was fine.
