Frank P. Lardinois

Frank P. Lardinois, 93, Howard, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013. He was born in Green Bay on Feb. 22, 1920, to the late Arthur and Helena (Verheyden) Lardinois. Frank served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was honorably discharged. He married his first wife, Lorraine Michaels, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 21, 1998. He married his second wife, Lilla Rentmaster, and she preceded him in death on May 2, 1986. Frank was employed as an electric wire welder at Northwest Engineering Co. for 20 years and then at FWD Corp. for 20 years until retiring. He loved to play cards and was an avid Packers fan. Frank was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the VFW and the American Legion. Survivors include his children, Jim Lardinois, Janice (Allen) Dettman, Wayne (Kay) Lardinois, Gary (Faye) Lardinois, Dale (Roberta) Lardinois; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Joyce Lardinois; dear friend, Marcella Calewarts; one sister, Bonnie Wagner; brother and sister-in-law, Merlin (Lorraine) Lardinois. Further survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his wives; son, Ron Lardinois; sisters and brothers, Eunice Roskom, Donald and Carl Lardinois, Betty Wietor, Kathryn VandeCorput; brothers- and sisters-in-law. Family and friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2561 Glendale Ave., Howard, on Friday, Aug. 30, from 9:30-11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev.
