Shawano Police Department Sept. 8 Police logged 18 incidents, including the following: Accident — A 30-year-old Cecil man was treated for head injuries sustained after falling from a moving bus in the 200 block of South Main Street. Police said the man rose from his seat to adjust his clothes and fell against the automatic door opener, then fell out through the door. Juvenile — Police investigated a juvenile alcohol complaint in the 100 block of South Washington Street. Disturbance — Police responded to a verbal dispute in the 500 block of South Main Street. Juvenile — Police responded to a juvenile problem at Waukechon and Richmond streets. Theft — Money was reported stolen from a residence in the 800 block of West Picnic Street. Disturbance — Police responded to a disturbance at Maurer and Lincoln streets. Sept. 7 Police logged 11 incidents, including the following: Assault — Police investigated an assault reported at Shawano Medical Center, 309 N. Bartlett St., after a man came to the emergency room and said he was beaten up. Vandalism — Police investigated a vandalism complaint in the 700 block of West Picnic Street. Rescue — Police rescued a 49-year-old Shawano man from the water south of the dam at Sturgeon Park, 811 S. Water St. Sept. 6 Police logged 27 incidents, including the following: Burglary — Police investigated a reported burglary in the 200 block of Easter Maurer Street. Suspicious — Police responded to a suspicious person complaint in the 200 block of West Fourth Street. Juvenile — Police responded to a complaint of a disruptive student at Olga Brener Intermediate School. Theft — A bike was reported stolen in the 200 block of South Lincoln Street. Hit and Run — Police responded to a property damage hit-and-run at Division and Union streets. Shawano County Sheriff’s Department Sept. 8 Deputies logged 32 incidents, including the following: Disturbance — Authorities responded to a report of a fight in progress on Resort Road in the town of Washington. Hit and Run — Authorities investigated a property damage hit-and-run on Laney Road in Maple Grove. Hit and Run — Authorities investigated a property damage hit-and-run on Lake Drive in Wescott. Disturbance — A charge of bail jumping was referred against a 58-year-old Birnamwood man after a disturbance on Highway 45 in Birnamwood. Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Main Street in Gresham. Sept. 7 Deputies logged 38 incidents, including the following: OWI — A 48-year-old Bowler man was arrested for operating while intoxicated on Moh He Con Nuck Road in Bowler. Drug Offense — Authorities investigated a drug complaint at the Ho Chunk Casino in Wittenberg. Theft — An Xbox and other items were reported stolen from a residence on Main Street in Angelica. Vandalism — Authorities investigated a vandalism complaint on Fox Lane in Wescott. Accidents — Authorities responded to an injury accident on Highway 47 in Lessor and logged one deer-related crash. Sept. 6 Deputies logged 47 incidents, including the following: Reckless Driving — Authorities responded to three reckless driving complaints on Highway 29 — in Belle Plaine, Waukechon and Seneca — one on Main Street in Gresham and one on Highway 45 in Birnamwood. Trespass — Authorities responded to a trespassing complaint on Fischer Street in Gresham. Juvenile — Authorities responded to a juvenile problem on Hickory Street in Red Springs. Harassment — Authorities responded to a harassment complaint on Warrington Avenue in Cecil. Accidents — Authorities logged an injury accident on Highway 47-55 in Wescott and three deer-related crashes.
