The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold an open house Nov. 14 to discuss the proposed reconstruction of state Highway 22 between 10th Street and Green Tree Road.
The meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. at the Clintonville Community Center, 30 S. Main St. It will begin with a brief presentation by representatives from the DOT at 5 p.m. Representatives will be available to discuss the proposed project and answer any questions.
The proposed project will reconstruct the roadway and replace the Pigeon River bridge. The work includes modifications to the intersection of Highway 22 and 12th Street, and Highway 22 and Highway 156/Green Tree Road.
The city also plans to replace the water main and sanitary sewer systems as part of the project. Additional improvements include replacing curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer, street lighting and traffic signals.
Construction on the Pigeon River bridge and the roadway between 10th Street and 13th Street are scheduled for 2015. The section of roadway between 13th Street and Green Tree Road is scheduled for construction in 2017, but may occur as early as 2016.
