Catherine Ann “Kate” Neumeier,61, entered into eternal rest in the presence of her Lord with her loving family and friends at her side on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at her home.
Kate was born on Jan. 3, 1953, the daughter of Robert and Rita (Beddy) Lampman in Neenah. She was a 1971 graduate of Neenah High School. Kate was united in marriage on Jan. 27, 1984, to Patrick Joseph Neumeier. She loved her flowers, gardening, her crafts such as photography and needle point, and her favorite thing — music. Kate was a dedicated servant at her favorite place to be, Christ the Rock Community Church, where Kate did data entry, secretarial and computer technical support.
Kate is lovingly survived by her husband, Patrick; a sister, Helen (Al) Tumas, Minocqua; and a nephew, Keith Wenzel.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 State Highway 10 and 114, Menasha, with the Rev. Peter Leschke officiating. Kate’s family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Valley Funeral Home, Appleton, is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established for Shepherds Care Community (serving the elderly).
