Donna Andrews

Donna Andrews, 80, of Minocqua, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2015, at the Seasons of Life Hospice Home in Woodruff. Donna was born May 17, 1934, in Shawano, daughter of the late Frank “Butch” and Ottilie “Tillie” Krueger. On Dec. 15, 1956, she was united in marriage to Lloyd “Duke” Andrews at St. James Lutheran Church of Shawano. Donna and Duke made their home in Minocqua in 1959. Donna was a homemaker, and she worked at several area establishments, including Popov’s, Cross Trails and Minocqua Furniture. She was a loving mother to three daughters. She was a good and faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Minocqua. She was an avid gardener. Donna is survived by her husband, Lloyd “Duke”; her loving children, Tami (Mark) Lobermeier, of Wyoming, Minnesota, and Kim (Russ) Vasilovich, of Schofield; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Noah) Persson, Jamie Lobermeier, Kristen Lobermeier and Kelsey Lobermeier. She is further survived by her brothers, William “Willie” (Sharon) Krueger and Arch (Carol) Krueger, both of Shawano. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dawn Marie Andrews, and one brother, Frank Krueger Jr. Funeral services for Donna will be on Friday, April 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minocqua. Pastor James Hoogervorst will officiate. Private interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery of Shawano. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10-10:50 a.m. In lieu of flowers and plants, the family requested memorials in Donna’s name to Dr. Kate’s - Seasons of Life Hospice House (Ministry Home Care) in Woodruff, Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Minocqua, or the Wisconsin Parkinson Association.
