Proceedings from July 26
A jury trial will be held Sept. 26 for Craig A. Spice II, 31, Suring. He faces nine counts of repeated failure to pay child support between June 1, 2008, and Oct. 11, 2012, and a felony bail jumping charge, which occurred April 13. His $5,000 cash bond was reduced to $3,000.
Proceedings from July 25
Julie J. Nicklas, 30, Oconto Falls, was sentenced to four years and seven months in prison for physically abusing a child intending to cause bodily harm. The offense occurred May 30, 2012, in Oconto Falls. She was also ordered to pay $268 court costs and ordered to take all prescribed medications.
An arraignment is set for July 29 for Frank Long, 31, Suring. He was arrested June 8 in the town of How and charged with substantial battery, physical abuse of a child and disorderly conduct. A $5,000 cash bond continues.
David R. Coomer, 58, Wabeno, was sentenced to three years and six months in prison for first degree sexual assault of a child, which took place July 25, 2012, in the town of Mountain. He is to spend three years and six months incarcerated and one year and six months on extended supervision during which time he is to comply with any treatment recommended and receive counseling, pay $268 court costs and register with the state sex offender registry.
Proceedings from July 23
Sentencing for John M. Lasley Jr., 29, Oconto, charged with two counts of failure to pay child support and one count of, as a repeater, failure to pay child support, was withheld. He was placed on probation four years on each count, to run concurrent, and ordered to pay $536 court costs and $250 DNA surcharge. Five counts of failure to pay child support and two counts, as a repeater, to pay child support were read in and then dismissed.
Brandon J. Bero, 18, Sheboygan, made an initial appearance on causing physical abuse to a child intending to cause bodily harm. He was arrested July 21 in Oconto. His appearance will continue Aug. 8, and a $500 cash bond was allowed.
Felicitie E. Wusterbarth, 21, Oconto Falls, entered a no contest plea to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance on Jan. 12, 2013, in Oconto. Her sentencing is set for Sept. 9, and a $5,000 signature bond continues.
Proceedings from July 22
Felony charges of battery, inflicting pain or injury to another and bail jumping were all amended to misdemeanor charges against Shaun M. Clarmont, 42, Oneida, after plea negotiations. The offense took place Oct. 9, 2012, in the town of Stiles. He was ordered to spend 90 days in jail, which was imposed and stayed, and he was placed on probation a year, ordered to attend alcohol and other drug abuse assessment and follow through, pay $213 court costs, and maintain absolute sobriety.

Denis V. Bochkarev, 18, Little Suamico, was sentenced to five years in prison for being party to burglary and being party to theft in the town of Abrams on Jan. 25, 2013. The sentence was imposed and stayed, and he was placed on probation three years, ordered to spend nine months in jail, with the conditions he pay joint and several restitution of $3,454.10, $278 court costs, have no contact with the victims or co-defendants, have no alcohol or illegal drugs and maintain full-time employment. One charge of being party to burglary and theft each were read in and then dismissed.
Proceedings from July 9
Peter J. Hanson, 52, Oconto Falls, was ordered to spend a year in jail for repeatedly maintaining a drug trafficking place in Oconto Falls on Oct. 11, 2012. A six-month jail sentence was ordered for being party to possessing a controlled substance, with 30 days in jail for being party to possessing drug paraphernalia. No court costs were assessed. Hanson pleaded guilty to all three charges.
Sentencing was withheld for Alex R. Belongia, 21, Oconto, charged with being party to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, on Feb. 8, 2012, in the town of Stiles. He was placed on probation three years with the conditions he continue alcohol and other drug abuse treatment, maintain absolute sobriety, have no alcohol or illegal drugs, maintain full-time employment unless enrolled in schooling, then maintain part-time employment, serve 50 hours of community service and pay $268 court costs. On a charge of being party to possessing drug paraphernalia on the same date, Feb. 8, 2012, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail and ordered to pay $243 court costs. He also entered a no contest plea to a felony bail jumping charge, which occurred May 19, 2012, in Oconto and was ordered to pay $817 in fines and court costs. His driver’s license is revoked six months.
Seth L. Strehlow, 27, Suring, was sentenced to 22 years in prison, seven years of confinement and 15 years of extended supervision, on three counts of possession of child pornography, which took place Sept. 4, 2012, in Suring, for sexual assault of a child under the age of 16, sexual exploitation of a child, two counts of child enticement, three charges of exposing his genitals or pubic area, exposing a child to harmful material, all which occurred during the summers of 2008 and 2009 in Suring, and two counts each of possession of child pornography and using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, which took place in the summer of 2007. After he has served his time, he is to maintain full-time employment, pay $268 court costs, receive evaluations and treatment for being a sex offender, have no contact with the victims or their families, use no computers and do no telephone texting.
Christopher M. Greene, 38, Green Bay, was sentenced to three years and six months in prison on three counts of failure to pay child support between July 11, 2009, and Nov. 12, 2012, in Oconto. The sentence was imposed, and stayed and he was placed on probation three years and six months, ordered to spend 60 days in jail and pay $268 court costs. He must obtain and maintain employment. Six additional charges of failure to pay child support were read in and dismissed.
Proceedings from July 8
Shawn L. Kramer, 48, Lena, made an initial appearance on a felony bail jumping charge, which allegedly occurred May 19. His bond was set at $1,000 cash.
After plea negotiations, Gary R. Young, 17, Gillett, pleaded guilty to charges of being party to possessing drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was ordered to spend 36 days in jail, which was imposed and stayed, and he was placed on probation a year and ordered to pay $243 court costs. He must attend alcohol and other drug abuse assessment and follow through and have no alcohol, illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia. He was arrested April 16 in Gillett. Charges of being party to a burglary and delivering a controlled substance were dismissed.
Daniel R. Williams, 20, Gillett, was sentenced after revocation to six months in jail on a possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance charge and 30 days jail for possession of a controlled substance, to run concurrent. He had been sentenced Feb. 8 to one year probation for the offenses, which took place Feb. 20, 2012, in Gillett. Still due is $243 court costs.
