At 6:39 p.m. Sept. 7, a car driven by an Oconto woman was traveling on state Highway 22 west of County Road J in the town of Oconto. She drove unto the gravel shoulder, lost control, entered a ditch and overturned. She was not injured but was cited for inattentive driving. At 12:20 a.m. Sept. 8, a Green Bay man was driving a pickup truck on County Road J at Lade Beach Road in the town of Little Suamico and stated a deer was standing on the roadway as he entered a curve. He swerved to avoid the animal, struck a mailbox and entered a ditch. Neither he nor either of two passengers in the truck was injured. Minor damage was reported to his truck. At 3:10 p.m. Aug. 31, a Lena man suffered injuries when the motorcycle he was driving struck a deer on Guelig Road, town of Stiles. He was transported to a medical facility. At 11:40 a.m. Aug. 20, a car driven by a Coleman man stopped for a stop sign on County Road B at A in the town of Spruce. He slowly proceeded to drive forward and was struck from behind by a car driven by a woman from Coleman. No injuries resulted, with minor damage to the the man’s auto and moderate to the woman’s vehicle. At 9:50 a.m. Aug. 28, a car driven by a woman from Lakewood left Lake John Road in the town of Lakewood and struck a tree. She stated she fell asleep while driving after returning from a double shift at work. No injuries were reported. At 3:30 a.m. Aug. 31, a man from Abrams was ticketed for failure to notify authorities of an accident. He was driving a pickup truck west on Sandalwood Road, town of Little Suamico, entered a ditch and overturned. Severe damage was reported to the truck. At 6:40 p.m. Sept. 2, a male motorcyclist from Little Suamico was northbound on West Frontier Drive, town of Abrams, when he lost control and was ejected. He suffered injuries and was transported to a medical facility. He received a citation for driving at an unreasonable speed. The motorcycle was a total loss. A theft of a gasoline tank with fuel was reported removed from a covered boat while parked at its owners residence on Springside Road in the town of Brazeau prior to Aug. 27. At 5:10 p.m. Aug. 30, a car driven by a Kimberly man was northbound on County Road T in the town of Doty. He was distracted and drove onto the gravel shoulder, overcorrected and struck a guard rail. Minor damage was reported to both the vehicle and the guard rail. He was cited for inattentive driving. At 6:40 a.m. Sept. 3, a White Lake man was driving his pickup truck east on state Highway 64 in the town of Doty and collided with a car driven by a man from Hatley at the intersection with County Road T. Moderate damage was reported to both vehicles. There were no injuries. At 6:20 p.m. Sept. 5, a Green Bay man was traveling south on Yurek Road at County Road S in the town of Chase, entered a ditch and overturned. Moderate damage was reported to his pickup truck.
