Oconto Falls High School senior Meghan Vandenack captured first place in the pole vault at the Peshtigo Invitational with a height of 8 feet, 6 inches Thursday.
Meanwhile, junior Mike Friedman notched two top-three finishes at the invitational as the OFHS boys finished fourth. The OFHS girls were fifth.
Kewaunee won both the boys and girls meets.
Friedman finished second in the 3,200-meter run, clocking in at 10 minutes, 22.09 seconds, and third in the 1,600 with a time of 4 minutes, 43 seconds.
Also securing third-place finishes for the Panthers were Hunter Reed in the 400 and James Malcheski in the 800.
Bailey Wolf finished second in the 800 and third in the 1,600 to lead the OFHS girls. Carly Lemke cleared 5-0 to finish second in the high jump. Carolyn Malcheski was third in the triple jump.
Taylor Kohls had Gillett’s best finish, throwing the discus 106-10 to finish second.
