Northwoods Veterinary Clinic will hold a donation drive for the Oconto Area Humane Society in November and December.
Individuals can purchase an animal ornament or pet toy for $5, with proceeds going to the humane society, which announced in September it might close due to a lack of funding.
The clinic is also accepting donations of much-needed items for the shelter: nonclumping clay kitty litter, bleach, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, large garbage bags, blankets and small rugs.
Donations can be dropped off at Northwoods Veterinary Clinic, 9920 State Highway 22 East, Gillett. The clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
