Ronald Reinert

Ronald Reinert, 82, of Thiensville, formerly of Oconto Falls, died Thursday evening, Dec. 4, 2014, at home. The youngest of eight children, he was born July 5, 1932, in Oconto Falls to Jacob and Marie (Selke) Reinert. Ron grew up in Oconto Falls where he attended public schools. As a young man he served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958 and was stationed in Germany. On May 14, 1960, he married Lucille Cook in Lena. The couple lived in Milwaukee for eight years before moving to Thiensville and living there for 43 years. Ron was employed at American Motors for over 30 years, retiring in 1989 at the age of 56. Survivors are his wife, Lucille Reinert, Thiensville; their three daughters, Julia Reinert, Thiensville; Brenda (Stephan) Krentz, Port Washington; Tina (Bob) Schultz, Richfield; one sister, Lorraine Rallof, Green Bay; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Norman (Erica) and Edward (Beatrice) Reinert and four sisters, Edna Delzer, Selma (Fred) Beine, Helen (Fred) Schroeder and Martha (Alton “Bill”) Delzer. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until the time of service. Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Harvey Jeffers officiating. Burial will be at the family plot in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
