• Kurtis Lee Peters, 29, Keshena, pleaded no contest to felony theft on June 27, 2025, but failed to appear at a Sept. 2 sentencing hearing. He was returned to custody in April and held on $15,000 cash bond. Judge Jay Conley withheld sentencing at a July 6 hearing and placed Peters on probation for two years with conditions.
• Clayton R. Frehse, 22, an Oconto Falls man serving a sentence at Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution in Plymouth, pleaded no contest July 6 to taking and driving a vehicle without consent. Conley sentenced him to two years in prison followed by three years of extended supervision with conditions, concurrent with the term he is now serving.
• Seth M. Fidler, 31, Oconto Falls, pleaded no contest July 2 to a misdemeanor charge of resisting or obstructing an officer. A related felony count was dismissed but read into the record in a plea agreement. Conley withheld sentencing July 10 and placed him on one year of probation with conditions.
• Jaden J. Cole, 17, Little Suamico, was charged July 6 with forgery. Judge Hannah Schuchart set a $1,000 signature bond and adjourned his initial appearance until July 16.
• Shannon M. Westphal, 47, Oconto Falls, was charged July 6 with possession of methamphetamine. Schuchart set a $500 cash bond and adjourned her initial appearance until July 16.
• Thomas O. Folts, 21, Oconto, was charged July 7 with first degree recklessly endangering safety, threatening to cause bodily harm to certain individuals involved with a court or legal system and misdemeanor counts of battery, disorderly conduct and operating a firearm while intoxicated. Conley set a $20,000 cash bond and adjourned his initial appearance until July 16.
• Roy L. Boucher, 38, Oconto, was charged July 8 with possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Schuchart set a $1,500 cash bond and adjourned his initial appearance until July 16.
