The three newest Shawano Speedway Hall of Fame members were honored July 11 at the racetrack.
Inductees in 2026 were Willard Raddant, LeRoy Raddant and Mike Schmelzer. Also, the Vandenlangenberg family was honored as a Hall of Fame Contributor.
Marcus Yarie, of Wausau, started on the pole in the IMCA modifieds 20-lap feature race and went on to win July 11 at the Shawano Speedway.
Yarie finished in front of second-place Dylon Waldvogel, of Antigo, and third-place Jeffery Teske, of Shawano.
Yarie also won the first heat, while Waldvogel won the second heat.
Oconto Falls’ Cole Magnin won the IMCA sport modifieds 20-lap feature race after starting back in the 10th spot.
Shawano’s AJ Springborn started ninth and finished second, while Seymour’s Tim Jorgenson started 14th and placed third. Greenville’s Shane Bahr started on the pole and finished in fourth place.
Heat winners were Michael Springborn, of Shawano, and Jordan Endries, of Kaukauna.
Trent Nolan, of Shawano, captured the checkered flag in the 20-lap feature in the IMCA stock car division. Nolan started in 10th place and worked his way up nine spots.
Shiocton’s Dylan Stadjee started third and finished second. Clintonville’s Jeremie Hedrick started fourth and placed third.
Tigerton’s Dustin Wudstrack finished ninth after starting on the pole. Chad Guyette, of Black Creek, won the first heat, and Hedrick won the second.
In the sport compact division, Clintonville’s Brad Wedde won after starting eighth in the 12-lap feature. He topped Clintonville’s Tanner Westphal, who started seventh and placed second, and Clintonville’s Seth Collar, who started fourth and placed third.
Pole sitter Jake Rupert, of New London, crossed the finish line in seventh place.
Westphal and Shawano’s Lucas Hacker won the heat races.
Racing continues in all four divisions July 18. Racing begins at 6 p.m.
Tickets for adults 17 and older are $15, teens 12-16 are $6, youth 11 and younger are free with a paid adult, and seniors are $12.
