Several Shawano Community High School students were named to Bay Conference all-conference teams, including tennis and track athletes with first-team awards.
For boys track, first team honors went to the 4x200-meter relay team of Joseph Kleinschmidt, Bryce Lammers, Aiden Rasmussen and Heriberto Rubio, all seniors.
For girls track, the 4x800 team earned a first-team award. Members are senior Jillian Guenther, senior Tela Hopfensperger, senior Bailey Hendricks and sophomore Mikelah Powers.
On the tennis courts, singles players Enrique Omela Valls and Kierman Sheldon earned first-team honors, as did the doubles team of Charlie Grieves and Evan Anderson.
Named to the second team were Hendricks, girls 1,600-meter run; Sam Green and John Kim, tennis doubles team; baseball seniors Anderson Schmidt, infield, and Ayden Bystol, utility and designated hitter.
Second team softball honors were awarded to sophomore Jaelyn Hietpas, outfield, and senior Lily Bubolz, pitcher.
Senior soccer player Maddie Moesch was named to the second team on defense.
Honorable mention awards were earned by the boys 4x800 track team of junior Josiah Kuehl, sophomore Nolan Kleinschmidt, sophomore Aloysius Frechette and junior Cambren Zeuske; Drew Chelberg in the boys discus; senior baseball player Kody Popelka, outfield; senior softball players Ayanna O’Kimosh, catcher, and Kadence Meyers, pitcher; and soccer freshman London Bowman, keeper, senior Maddy Pyatsowit, forward, and junior Kendall Knope, midfield.
