Back home again

After more than 80 years, the remains of Herbert McLaughlin returned to Shawano the evening of Aug. 6. McLaughlin was killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor, and until December 2024, his remains were among those soldiers unidentified. He will be buried Aug. 9 at Woodlawn Cemetery.
