• Andrew E. Mahers, 37, a Pound man serving time at Stanley Correctional Institution, pleaded guilty March 3 to possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs, and felony bail jumping. Judge Michael Judge sentenced him June 24 to 30 months in prison followed by two years of extended supervision with conditions.
• Brett W. Nichols, 54, Oconto, pleaded no contest June 24 to felony bail jumping. Judge withheld sentencing and placed him on one year of probation with conditions.
• Robin Renee Strehlow, 65, Suring, pleaded no contest June 24 to two misdemeanor charges of theft in a business setting. The charges were amended from felony counts in a plea agreement. Judge withheld sentencing and placed her on one year of probation with conditions including five days in jail and writing a letter of apology to the Breed Sportsmen’s Club.
• Diann L. Moeller, 59, Lena, was charged June 24 with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Judge set a $2,000 cash bond and adjourned her initial appearance until July 17.
• Ronald Kenneth Verhagen, 57, Suring, was charged June 25 with battery or threat to a law officer and misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and disorderly conduct. Judge set a $750 cash bond and adjourned his initial appearance until July 17.
• Cody K. Race, 36, Pound, was charged June 25 with attempted first-degree intentional homicide and three counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety. Judge set a $500,000 cash bond and adjourned his initial appearance until July 16.
• Jenna R. Garrigan, 35, Oconto Falls, was charged June 25 with child abandonment, three counts of interfering with another parent’s custody of a child and a misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property. Judge set a $10,000 cash bond and adjourned her initial appearance until July 17.
• Ryan Grant Carmody, 46, Oconto, was charged June 26 with child abuse intentionally causing harm. Judge Jay Conley set a $2,500 signature bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 8.
