In 2024, the Gillett Area Chamber of Commerce relaunched the Forever Fund that was established years earlier by Revitalize Gillett.
Awards had not been given for four years. Last year, four grants of $2,500 each were presented to Rank’s Northern Supply, L&N Metal Works, Gillett Public School Food Pantry and Main Street Sweets.
Awards in 2025 will be $3,000 each.
Those eligible for the GACC Forever Fund grants are businesses or organizations that are doing a physical project to improve commerce or beautify property. They must be members of the Gillett Area Chamber of Commerce or conduct business within the 54124 ZIP code.
The focus of the 2025 grants will be focused on physical projects that will be completed within one year of the grant being given.
The application window is open from July 1-31, and the awards will be presented Nov. 14 at the chamber’s annual business meeting.
