The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. June 24 via Microsoft Teams. Attendees will access the meeting via the new state Highway 64 project website. The purpose of this meeting is to review the proposed project scope, schedule and anticipated traffic impacts, and solicit comments and feedback on the proposed improvements. The project is expected to extend the service life of the existing roadway pavement within the project limits by resurfacing the roadway. Other improvements include culvert repair and replacement, new centerline and shoulder rumble strips, and beamguard to enhance safety and functionality. The project will also construct wildlife protecting fencing. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2030. Traffic impacts include single lane closures with flaggers during working hours. Roadway closures with detours are not anticipated at this time.
