Pulaski 5, Lakeland Union 2
Pulaski’s tennis team went 2-1 at Stevens Point on April 25-26, defeating Lakeland Union and Rhinelander but losing to De Pere.
In the 5-2 win over Lakeland Union, the Red Raiders won three singles matches and two doubles matches.
At No. 2 singles, Nathan Maroszek won 6-1, 6-1. Mikel Iglesias-Mino won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 3, while Jonah Drevs won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4.
Justin Fraedrich lost 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Henry Piczkowski and Oscar Delmarcelle fell 2-6, 6-0, 10-7 at No. 1 doubles.
Doubles wins came from Jeffrey Sanders and William Gosse, 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2, and Jakob Malchow and Conrad Kreutzberg, 6-7 (1), 7-6 (5), 10-4 at No. 3.
De Pere 6, Pulaski 1
Iglesias-Mino collected the only Pulaski win in a 6-1 loss to De Pere. He won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.
Maroszek took his opponent to three sets at No. 2 singles, 7-6 (5), 4-6 , 10-8.
Pulaski 4, Rhinelander 3
The Red Raiders captured three of the four singles matches in a 4-3 win over the Hod’s.
Fraedrich won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1, Maroszek won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2, and Iglesias-Mino notched his third win of the day, a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 3.
Drevs lost a close 7-6 (5), 7-5 decision at No. 4 singles.
At No. 1 doubles, Piczkowski and Delmarcelle lost 6-3, 6-1, and Sanders and Gosse lost 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2.
The Pulaski win came at No. 3 doubles, when Malchow and Kreutzberg pulled out a 4-6, 7-6 (5), 11-9 victory.
