Bonduel started off its season on a winning note by taking advantage of eight walks and five errors in securing an 8-0 win over Edgar at Wisconsin Rapids.
Beckett Hartlaben, Mason Zuleger and Brooks Hartlaben combined for a solid performance on the mound in a shutout effort, with Hartlaben getting the win.
Kody Schroeder was the big stick in the Bears lineup with three hits and two RBIs. Carter Moesch added two RBIs.
Bonduel is now 1-0 on the year.
Oconto Falls 7, Kingsford 4
Cole and Hunter Bozile teamed up at the plate to pace the Panthers in a 7-4 win.
Cole Bozile hit 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Hunter Bozile was 1-for-1 with two runs scored.
Trace Brehmer was the winning pitcher. He pitched three innings, gave up two hits and two runs (two earned), walked four and struck out two.
Tigerton 6, Gresham 5
The Tigers were successful with another one-run victory, defeating Gresham 6-5.
Lena 4, Niagara 1
The Wildcats picked up another win, this time a 4-1 decision over Niagara.
Bowler 5, Northland Lutheran 3
Bowler started its season on a positive note, defeating Northland Lutheran 5-3.
Marion 1, White Lake 0
Marion batters only scored one run against White Lake, but that was all that was needed for the 1-0 win. It was the first win for the 1-2 Mustangs.
Pulaski 10, Ashwaubenon 1
The Red Raiders improved to 4-1 with a 10-1 Fox River Classic Conference win over Ashwaubenon.
Shawano 11, Xavier 1
Shawano’s bats came alive in an 11-1 thumping of Xavier.
Pacelli 2, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 1
A scoreless battle for six innings, the game came down to the seventh inning when all three runs were scored. Unfortunately, Pacelli finished on top 2-1 over the Chargers, who suffered their first loss of the young season.
