The Shawano County Farm Bureau is open for applications for annual scholarships to be used at a university, college or technical program.
Applicants must be Shawano County residents or have attended a Shawano County high school, be pursuing an agriculture-related degree at a university or technical college, have volunteered at one or more Shawano County Brunch on the Farm Events, provided evidence of academic achievement and demonstrated a record of active participation in extracurricular activities.
Up to six scholarships may be awarded. Each scholarship shall be up to $500 to students pursuing a degree or certificate at a university, college, or technical college.
The following items must be received by March 7:
• Completed scholarship application.
• Copy of most recent transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).
• Two letters of recommendation.
