Iola-Scandinavia T-Bird Invitational
Bonduel’s Mariah Wondra bested all girls in the Iola-Scandinavia T-Bird Invitational, with Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Rory Salveson placing second.
The Wittenberg-Birnamwood girls placed third and the Bonduel girls were fourth in the Iola-Scandinavia T-Bird Invitational.
For the boys, Menominee Nation placed fifth, Bonduel was sixth and Wittenberg-Birnamwood was 11th.
Wondra completed the 5,000-meter course in 19:37. Teammate Teagan Engel was also in the top 10, placing eighth in 22:01.
Other Bonduel runners are Cierra Schnell, 30th, 24:26; Kember Frome, 51st, 26:18; Taylor Rank, 53rd, 26:41; Madalyn Sokolski, 60th, 27:38; and Isabella Roberts, 93rd, 30:08.
Rory Salveson led the Chargers finishing second overall in 20:22. Her teammates and their finishes included Harper Krull, sixth, 21:42; Gabrielle Timm, 17th, 22:52; Nora Bushman, 20th, 23:11; and Jayden Zeinert, 101st, 30:49.
Menominee Nation’s Urijah Reevis placed 27th in 23:51 and Anisa Peters was 94th in 30:17. Violet Buchholz of Wolf River Lutheran finished 39th in 25:29. Marion’s Bridget Much was 68th in 28:11.
Menominee Nation boys were led by Ryan Corn, who finished 11th in 18:25. Barron Waupoose was right behind him in 12th place with a time of 18:28, and Bryant Waupoose III was close behind him in 14th place with a time of 18:32.
Quinn Olson finished in 33rd place in 20:07, followed by Francis Delabrau, 55th place, 21:03; Cashius Reevis, 73rd, 21:58; and Michael Peters III, 91st, 22:34.
Bonduel was paced by Griffin Uelman’s 20th place finish in 18:55. He was joined by Oliver Chitwood, 23rd, 19:09; Race Anvelink, 24th, 19:14; Gage Anderson, 27th, 19:30; Joah Dworniczak, 37th, 20:09; Ben Reisner, 68th, 21:47; and Dylan Keller, 72nd, 21:52.
Runners and time for the Chargers were Landon Meronk, 52nd, 20:47; Jonas Bushman, 54th, 21:03; Hayden Miller, 69th, 21:47; Carson Meronk, 71st, 21:49; Milo Salvesen, 83rd, 22:18; Tara Guk, 89th, 22:29; and Dalton Fletcher, 90th, 22:32.
Ryan Drengler of Wolf River Lutheran placed 94th in 22:53.

Appleton West Terror Invite
Pulaski’s boys tallied 134 points and placed fourth at the 14-team race at Winagamie Golf Course in Neenah. Shawano runners placed 12th with 322 points.
Leading the Red Raiders was Arden Gillen, placing 12th in 17:53. He was joined by Daniel Augustine, 20th, 18:01; Grayden Gossen, 30th, 18:24; Dayne Groth, 35th, 18:37; Mitchell Pilon, 41st, 18:52; Peyton Yaw, 56th, 19:35; and Thomas Murphy, 58th, 19:44.
Josiah Kuehl led Shawano, finishing 31st in 18:25. He was followed by Trevor Schwartz, 49th, 19:06; Teagan Harkey, 78th, 20:49; Quinten Harkey, 82nd, 21:01; and James Lange, 94th, 21:34.
Pulaski’s girls placed sixth with 176 points and Shawano was eighth with 190. Appleton North won with 52 points.
For the Red Raiders, Emerson Fabry led her teammates with a fifth place finish in 20:05. Olivia Stedl placed 11th in 21:12, followed by Addie Bruckert, 23rd, 21:43; Ellie Murphy, 50th, 23:27; and Estella Vieaux, 91st, 26:02.
Bailey Hendricks led Shawano with a 14th place finish in 21:19. She was followed by Adalyn Barkley in 25th in 21:45; Anabelle Schroeder, 33rd, 22:07; Evelyn Kuehl, 55th, 23:50; Mikelah Powers, 67th, 24:28; Arica Preston, 80th, 25:03; and Teagan Powers, 85th, 25:36.
