The Lena Knights of Columbus are having a seafood sale to raise funds for its faith and community projects. The organization is are working with Blue Harbor Fish out of Green Bay.
Orders are being taken through Feb. 2 for a wide variety of fish and shellfish items. Some items are single-serve portions, others are in 1- to 10-pound packages, and there are breaded and ready-to-cook choices, too.
Orders can be picked up at the St. Anne’s School (formerly St. Charles) in Lena from 1-6 p.m. Feb. 9 and 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 10.
The Knights sponsor a number of community events such as the Feed My Sheep Pantry, Coats for Kids within the Lena School District, scholarships, religious education, Knowledge and Free Throw Contests, and people in need.
Anyone interested can pre-order by contacting Mark Alden at stonemeadow3@gmail.com. The Blue Harbor truck is also scheduled to be on site from 1-5 p.m. Feb. 9 with a broader selection for purchase off the truck.
