Incumbents filing paperwork for reelection

Several Shawano County Board supervisors have completed the necessary paperwork to seek reelection in the April 7 general election.

County Clerk Raymond Rigsby said District 11 Supervisor James Przybylski, District 12 Supervisor Kathy Luebke and District 17 Supervisor Allan Kuhn were among the first incumbents to turn in validated nomination packets.

Governor signs WNA-backed public notice font bill

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers on Dec. 9 signed Senate Bill 440, now known as 2025 Wisconsin Act 72, relating to the required font for published legal notices by Wisconsin newspapers.

The legislation was sponsored in the Assembly by Rep. Todd Novak, R-Dodgeville, and in the Senate by Sen. Romaine Quinn, R-Birchwood.
