Members of the Shawano County Executive Committee recommended hiring Nichole Zuehl as the county’s new finance director, a move expected to be approved by the full county board when it meets May 28.
The position became vacant May 2 with the resignation of Carrie Buntjer.
Zuehl completed her bachelor’s degree in business administration at UW-Oshkosh and earned her master’s degree at Concordia University.
Zuehl has more 10 years of related experience in a variety of positions ranging from a teller to a senior financial/cost analyst, with additional experience in professional development from UW-Madison.
Her appointment was effective May 19. She will be paid $116,688 per year.
