The Oconto Area Chamber of Commerce announced that Harvest Fest 2025 will return to downtown Oconto on Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with an exciting new boost — Nercon Conveyor Systems will serve as the presenting sponsor of this year’s event.
A longtime leader in manufacturing and innovation with strong roots in the Oconto community, Nercon’s support marks a new chapter in the growth and evolution of Harvest Fest. Their commitment is helping to bring even more activities, amenities and atmosphere to this beloved fall tradition, according to Samantha Routheau, president of the Oconto Area Chamber of Commerce.
“Community events like Harvest Fest don’t happen without people and businesses that believe in where they live,” Routheau said. “Partnering with Nercon is a perfect example of what makes Oconto special. Their support and collaboration are helping us take this event to new heights; we’re thrilled for what’s ahead.”
As presenting sponsor, Nercon’s involvement will be visible and impactful — from helping expand entertainment options and vendor capacity to increasing accessibility and comfort for visitors. More seating, signage, family-friendly zones and a few exciting surprises are all part of the plan, due in large part to their backing.
“Harvest Fest is the kind of event that brings people together and reminds us what community is all about,” said Mike Weickert, president of Nercon Conveyor Systems. “We’re proud to support something that adds so much joy and connection to our city. Working with the chamber on this has been a natural fit. We both care deeply about making Oconto an even better place to live, work and celebrate.”
With more than 150 vendors expected, live music, fall-themed fun and a few new attractions in the works, Harvest Fest 2025 is shaping up to be the most exciting yet, according to Routheau. Visitors can expect a warm, welcoming environment that honors tradition while embracing fresh ideas — something the chamber and Nercon are passionate about delivering, she said.
