The annual search for the next honoree for the Packers Fan Hall of Fame has begun.

Fans are asked to nominate themselves, a relative or friend for the honor of being the 28th member of the Packers Fan Hall of Fame with an essay of 500 words or fewer, describing the merits of the nominee. Each nomination should be accompanied by a photo. The nomination period will remain open until Nov. 30.

After getting back into the win column with a 27-20 victory over the New York Giants, the Packers now face their toughest three-game stretch of the season.

Over the next three weeks, Green Bay’s next three opponents are the three other teams in the NFC North — starting with the Minnesota Vikings, then a Thanksgiving match-up against the Detroit Lions and finally a classic showdown against the Chicago Bears.

The Green Bay Packers got back on track this week as they overcame a few injuries to snap a two-game losing streak and defeat the New York Giants, 27-20, in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Nov. 16.

Packers’ offense vs. Giants’ defense

The Giants’ defense as a whole is not really good, but they seem to have a staple for every team they’ve ever built.

They can rush the passer.

The Giants strengthened perhaps their biggest strength in the offseason when they selected Abdul Carter with their first-round pick.

The Green Bay Packers will take their show on the road before four division games out of their next five.

That includes a showdown on Thanksgiving Day against the Detroit Lions.

Before that, they’ll have to conquer the New York Giants on the road, which is an area Green Bay has struggled this year.

The Giants’ season has one purpose at this point. They’re attempting to develop a young starting quarterback.

The Packers? They have bigger aspirations than that.

Their schedule down the stretch of the season is tough, so they’ll need to stack as many wins as they can.
