Packers, Eagles evenly matched in opener

Packers Offense vs. Eagles Defense The Philadelphia Eagles’ defense helped lead them to the Super Bowl during the 2022 season. Their pass rush was vicious, as they set the team record for sacks that year. Last year saw the defense fall apart down the stretch. The pass rush was not as vicious, and the team will now be breaking in some new rushers. Haason Reddick was traded to the New York Jets this offseason and replaced by Bryce Huff.

Bakhtiari placed on IR
The Green Bay Packers have placed tackle David Bakhtiari on injured reserve, signed linebacker Kristian Welch to the active roster from the practice squad and elevated cornerback Corey Ballentine and cornerback Kiondre Thomas from the practice squad to the active roster for gameday.
