Are personnel changes enough to give the Packers a win?

Green Bay opens the 2025 season at home against the Detroit Lions.

At this time a year ago, you likely could not find a unit that was flying higher than Green Bay’s offense.

The finish to the 2023 regular season and 48-point barrage in the postseason gave the Packers a ton of confidence going into the 2024 season.

It was not to be.

Packers 6-pack: Green Bay needs to get off to a good start

The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions will face off at Lambeau Field on Sept. 7, with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo on the call with CBS carrying the game.

That’s unusual with FOX usually being the NFC partner, but with every team playing to start the season, that is the nature of the beast.

The Packers will be looking to get off to a good start, after finishing on a sour note a season ago.

Packers ready for another Super Bowl run

When it comes to the autumn season, one pastime reigns supreme in northeast Wisconsin — football.
