To the editor:
I’m writing in regards to the proposed casino in Kenosha. I strongly believe that Gov. Walker should give the Menominee tribe the OK to build a casino at the Dairyland Greyhound Park site.
A casino in Kenosha would give people who live in Racine County and neighboring counties the opportunity to enjoy gambling a lot closer to home. It would also create a lot of jobs, and I’m sure there are a lot of unemployed people in Racine and neighboring counties who are in need of good jobs to support themselves and their families.
It would be good for the Menominee Tribe, as well. I’ve been to Menominee bingo/hotel in Keshena several times and really enjoyed the slots there. I also met some really nice Menominee people there.
